Essex Primary Sportshall Finals Year 5/6
Description: The final of the Sportshall Essex Primary athletics finals took place at Garon’s Park Leisure and Tennis Centre this morning amid high expectations from all competitors. The buzz of excitement was in the air and during a quick group warm up, it was clear to see it was going to be a day of impressive performances.

Southend Primary Years 3/4 and 5/6 Hockey Final
Description: The Southend Primary Hockey finals consisting of the top teams in both years 3/4 and 5/6 picking up their sticks and taking to the pitches at Warner’s Bridge. With some new rules for this year’s event there were plenty of goals and some top skill on show throughout the day from both age groups. The crowd was slowly growing in anticipation of the day’s events and it soon got underway with the year 3/4 age group getting onto the pitches first.

Essex County Year 5/6 Football Final
Description: The Essex County football final consisted of the top 12 primary schools in the county and was bound to the fast paced nail biting tournament it promised to be – It didn’t disappoint! We are proud to say that Thorpe Greenways Juniors representing the Southend East School Sports Partnership, came 3rd in the competition – So a huge congratulations to them!

Essex County Year 5/6 Football Final
Description:
The Essex County football final consisted of the top 12 primary schools in the county and was bound to the fast paced nail biting tournament it promised to be – It didn’t disappoint! We are proud to say that Thorpe Greenways Juniors representing the Southend East School Sports Partnership, came 3rd in the competition – So a huge congratulations to them!
Even conditions close to the Antarctic couldn’t stop the mighty Thorpe Greenways Juniors battling their way all the way through to the semi-finals where they unfortunately missed their finals play-off opportunity to St Thomas Primary.
A very close final game was between St Thomas Primary and Kingswood, who after playing the full game had no sign of a winner. After just 25 seconds of golden goal extra time St Thomas scored an outstanding goal with Kingswood just missing out on the top spot and placing 2nd.
Congratulations to St Thomas Primary, who after a long day claimed 1st in the tournament, not only that, but well done to all attendees.
